The "Romantic Infinity Wedding" will take you and your family or friends to a deserted island near Kanuhura resort. Experience your life's most important moment in the seclusion of paradise!

Romantic Infinity Wedding Ceremony & Dinner Package

Wedding on a Private Desert Island, just five minutes off Kanuhura.

(Please note that the Kanuhura times indicated below are one hour ahead of Malé time.)

• 18:00 - The groom and family members are picked up from the main jetty and transferred to the ceremony island by a speed boat.
   
• While the groom and his family & friends are waiting for the bride's arrival, beverages & a light snack are being served.
   
• 18:15 - The bride is taken from the main jetty in a speed boat to our private desert island.
   
• From the speed boat, four men in traditional Maldivian sarongs, will carry the bride to the shore. The bride will be met by her father or - if no family members are present - by one of our management staff, and receives bouquet.
   
• Traditional Boduberu, Maldivian drums, will be announcing the bride's arrival.
   
• A trio will start playing soft classical music in the background, while the guests are waiting, and as soon as the brides steps onto the island.
   
• When the bride is walking towards the ceremony, a line of employees will form a palm leaf entrance. The palm leafs will be lifted and by the time she reaches the end of this path, the groom will be waiting for her.
   
• Hand in hand, they will approach the master of ceremonies (Kanuhura manager).
   
• The path to the ceremony will be lined with romantic decorations.
   
• The actual ceremony will take place on the edge of the sand bank and ocean, decorated with coconut tree columns and palm leaves, forming the shape of hearts - the symbol of love.
   
• 18:30 -18:40 - Short ceremony and exchange of vows, followed by celebratory Champagne, and the ritual of cutting the wedding cake.
   
• 19:00 - After the ceremony, the couple is given time to walk the length of the sand bank and island, then seated at a celebration table - decorated in "gazebo" - for a special sunset dinner, served by a private chef and a waiter.
   
• 21:00 - Following dinner, the couple and guests will return to Kanuhura. A surprise wedding gift and a turndown amenity, along with a framed certificate, will be placed in the wedding couple's villa.
   
• The villa and amenity set-up will be decorated in a romantic theme.
   
• Bath filled with scented water and flowers -candles and special aphrodisiac is to be placed in the bath.
   
• Following morning: Champagne brunch will be served to the couple in their Villa, including freshly squeezed juices, fresh tropical fruit, yoghurts, egg dishes, home baked pastry and bakery items.
   
• A Japanese translator and photographer will be provided by the resort for the ceremony (72 photos).

Weather:
The ceremony & dinner will be subject to prevailing weather conditions of the day.

Costuming:
Traditional Maldivian sarongs for the groom and bride available. Colours may be chosen by the couple upon arrival. We suggest that the bride should provide her own white blouse, and the groom his own shin that will match the sarongs.
