Our Sun DiveCenter caters for experienced divers with excursions to unique dive sites, and offers newcomers a first class introduction to diving. Lhaviyani atoll is blessed with thilasgiris, outer reefs, drop-offs, corners and channels.

The outer reef at Kanuhura drops down to more than 1200 metres below sea level, offering an immensely rich diversity of marine life. In just 10 to 60 minutes from Kanuhura you may reach over 40 dive sites, among them two shipwrecks and a manta point.

Kanuhura’s outer atoll location and undisturbed dive sites lie far from other resorts and shipping routes, making it possible for you to enjoy some of the best diving and snorkelling anywhere in the Maldives

PADI Gold Palm award Kanuhura’s Sun Dive Center is one of the selected dive centers worldwide to be awarded prestigious PADI Gold Palm status in recognition of excellent facilities and tuition, rigorous safety standards and expertise.

Up to eight qualified and experienced PADI instructors offer professional diving education. A wide range of beginner and specialist courses in several languages, modern fully-equipped classrooms and the latest teaching materials ensure a quality learning experience at all levels.

Generously arranged diving base is just 30m from the beach. The experienced Sun Dive Center team guide you in small groups and a relaxed atmosphere at one of over 40 spectacular dive sites, assuring you of a top quality diving experience.

We use high quality equipment and to ensure comfortable diving you will keep any rental equipment for your entire stay with us. To store your own private diving equipment as well as rental gear we use our secure and well-ventilated wet room. For boat diving we will pack and transport your gear for you and even rinse your equipment. All you have to do is dive!
